Cape Sounion

This tour takes about half a day to see the Cape and the Temple of Poseidon. A wonderful drive along the southernmost tip of Attica with a view of the Saronic Gulf passing through some of Athens most beautiful suberbs.

The Temple of Poseidon stands at 200 feet above the sea at the edge of a cliff on Capte Sounion.  The Sanctuary of Athena is situated on a hill 400 m northeast of the Sanctuary of Poseidon. Lunch or Dinner is provided during this tour.

Mycenae

Mycenae is located about 90 km south-west of Athens, in the north-eastern Peloponnese. In the second millennium B.C. Mycenae was on the major centres of Greek civilization, which had a military strong hold and dominated much of southern Greece. The Greek history from 1600 B.C to about 1100 B.C is called the Mycenaean period.

The Epidaurus Ancient Theatre

The Epidaurus Ancient Theatre is located within the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Asklepios. The theatre is about 2 hours from Athens and to this day still has performances
. 

Ancient Corinth

This tours takes about about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Athens. Corinth played a major role in the missionary work of St Paul the Apostle. The site was first inhabited in the Neolithic period (5000-3000 B.C). St Paul visited Corinth in the 50's A.D. and later wrote two letters to the Christian community at Corinth (1 and 2 Corinthians in the Bible).

See the Corinth Canal which has been cut through the isthmus since St Paul crossed over. Visit the museum which contains many artifacts from Corinth.


A visit to Ancient Corinth, Acrocorinth, the Canal,
Mycenae, Nafplion and Epidaurus takes about 10 hours.

Thessalonika

There are many archaeological sites to see at Thessalonika. Greece's 2nd major economic, commercial and political capital and founded in 315 B.C., St Paul with Silas and Timothy came here from Phillippi on his 2nd missionary journey.

Philippi- Kavala - Amphipolis

Phillippi, a city in eastern Macedonia, northern Greece, was established by Philip in 356 B.C. and abandoned in the 14th century after the Ottoman conquest. The 1st church attested in the city is a small building that was a small prayer house and the Basilica of St Paul. It was here that the St Paul founded the Christian community.

Kavala a city situated  on the Bay of Kavala, across from the island of Thasos.  Founded by settlers from Thassos in the 6th century who called in Neapolis (new city). Amphipolis an ancient Greek city, founded in 437 B.C., and once inhabited by the Edoni people in the present-day periphery of Central Macedonia. 

Mycenean and the Mycenean Treasure

A gray mound of rock with the marks of the Cyclops upon it. Mycenae was the powerful and sovereign up to 1100 B.C.
